Unsolved Crimes

On the evening of October 14, 2011, a Dell laptop was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Water St.
Sometime during the evening of October 12 or the morning of October 13, 2011, the Midrivers offices were burglarized. This case is currently being investigated.
On October 8, 2011, Dennis Dygert with Dygert meat processing reported that he had approximately $700 in cash stolen out of a cash box inside his house. The money was taken out of a small cash box that was sitting on a desk. Any information can be called into the Fergus County Sheriff's Office or Crimestoppers.
On September 25th, 2011, 2 debit cards, a playstation, playstation video games, $30 cash and a drivers license were stolen from an automobile on 4th Avenue S. This case is currently being investigated.
On September 8th, 2011, 2 Moose antlers were stolen from a carport in the 800 block of W. Boulevard. This case is currently being investigated.
During the early morning hours of August 21, 2010, the Little Montana convenience store and restaurant in Grass Range, Montana was broken into. Cash, cigarettes and other goods were taken by the suspect(s). The individual involved is approximately 45-55 years old, wearing blue jeans, and a green or camouflage fleece jacket. Any information can be called into the Fergus county Sheriff's Office or Crimestoppers.
On the night of August 19, 2011 at approximately 11:30 pm, there was a fight at the Montana Tavern involving 4-5 males. This altercation resulted in one man being transported to Billings by ambulance and allegations of a knife being pulled. This case is currently under investigation.
On July 21, 2011, after hours, KC Welding, located on Highway 87 West, was burglarized. Numerous tools, computers, cash and other miscellaneous items were taken in the break-in. This case is currently being investigated.
On 1/29/10 The Fergus County Sheriff’s Department received a theft complaint. The complainant reported that his Ice House along with a 20# propane bottle and all of his fishing gear were stolen from East Fork Dam. This case is currently being investigated.
On 12/31/09 The Fergus County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a residential burglary in the Hilger area. Unknown suspects entered the residence through a window. It appears that nothing was stolen. This case is currently under investigation.
On 8/27/09 The Fergus County Sheriff’s Department received a Theft Complaint. The Complainant stated that 2 red transport arms fro a V rig were stolen from the Upper Spring Creek area. At this time the value of the transport arms is unknown. This case is currently under investigation.
On 12/31/09 The Fergus County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a residential burglary in the Hilger area. Unknown suspects entered the residence through a window. It appears that nothing was stolen. This case is currently under investigation.
On 1 June, 2009 The Fergus County Sheriff’s Department received a theft complaint. Items stolen during the theft were 10 -12 cattle/hog panels (Wire) these items were stolen from a barn located on North East Boulevard Street in Lewistown.
On 31 May, 2009 The Fergus County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a theft in Grass Range. A red and black Toro SR4 Super Recycler push mower was stolen from a residence in Grass Range the value of the Mower is $559.99.
On 1 May, 2009 The Fergus County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a burglary at the Office Bar in Moore Mt. Suspects did not take anything but several windows were broken during the crime.
On 20 April, 2009 The Fergus County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a burglary at the Office Bar in Moore Mt. Items stolen included several 18 packs of beer, cigarettes and some change.
On 25 March, 2009 The Fergus County Sheriff’s Department received a theft complaint. Two car speakers were stolen from a shop on Kolin Road.
